Life after
X-Force:
When Rictor left
X-force a second
time, he and
Shatterstar went
to Mexico to
stop dealings
with the Richter
family. Rictor
gets captured
and is forced to
watch his best
friend fight
Domino while he
is stuck in a
room surrounded
by
nitro-glycerine.
They get out of
that mess,
obviously and
they don’t
appear again
until the 1999
Annual. They had
become involved
in crime
fighting against
Julio’s family,
and remained a
team of two with
a brief
assistance from
their old
team-mates. In
this period of
time, it is safe
to say that
Rictor was
closer with
‘Star than he
had ever been.
He even learned
Shatterstar’s
Cadre language
so they could
communicate more
privately.
The next we see
of Rictor, he is
without
Shatterstar and
working on the
Paris branch of
X-corporation.
After this
appearance, he
showed up in
Cable and
Deadpool with
X-force, but due
to an artist
error, is only a
speech bubble.
It was confirmed
that he was a
part of X-force
at this time,
even if it
carries
continuity
errors with
House of M and
X-factor.
