Alternate Versions:

In Age of Apocalypse, Rictor was a leader of the Mudir, trying so hard to gain a higher position in Apocalypse’s ranks. He was obsessed over catching Gambit, and followed the man everywhere. He even jumped through a portal to chase after Gambit and the X-ternals. He was set on capturing them, and even gained allies in that of the Shi’ar to aid him. In the end, he messed up, and though obtained Guido Carosella on his side, won nothing. He was distraught and tried to explain himself, but Apocalypse simply killed him.

During a small What If... series that involved Cable destroying the X-men, Rictor sided with Cable and his New Mutants friends. When Cable died, Ric went to Magneto shortly before his own death. Another What if   series that involved Stryfe destroying the X-men (wow, what a pattern!), showed him being in Danger Room jail, then randomly disappearing throughout the rest of the issue. He appeared a few more times, but it was probably Jimmy since all artists know that they're secretly twins.

In Wolverine: Rahne of Terra, Rictor was a guard named Richard, who helped protect the Princess Rahne. Like his 616 counterpart, he was a bit of a jerk. He pretty much did what he wanted, and laughed about it afterwards. He also sported something resembling a perm on crack. He fought in battle against Wolverine, and didn't do very well. Like many other of his versions, he did not die, only randomly disappeared after being in a series of panels.

In X-force #100, Rictor was featured in a few encounters of his former friends. First, he was part of X-force in a alternate time line where Stryfe and the MLF killed Cable and Sam. He, and X-force (Shatterstar, Feral, Boomer, Siryn, Sunspot, Copycat and Deadpool) sought their revenge, and became most wanted criminals. Later in the issue, he appeared as some sort of skrull or alien.

In X-men: The End, Rictor was still a member of X-force, and had been forced to watch and bury teammates that were destroyed by alien forces called the Technarx. After an escape with Domino and Feral, they were attacked by
an impostor pretending to be Wolverine. Being that it was an alternate universe, and being that it is Rictor, he died by a simple throw into some screen. A hand outstretched and literally killed him in the face.  Oh, Ric.
