Terrigen
crystals
embedded on his

they exactly

Peter David
insists that
they allowed him
to get what he
wanted. With the
crystals, he was
able to defeat
the
Isolationist, a
man with
considerable
abilities, and
was he able to
get closer to
Rahne when he
needed someone.
~An alpha level
mutant, Rictor’s
abilities were
tied with the
earth, often
showing up as
green energy or
just simple
lines
surrounding him.
He was able to
create seismic
vibrations, and
unleash them
from any part of
his body. He
could release
these powers in
very destructive
matters which
made him hold
back at times
due to fear of
losing control
and destroying
everything
around him. His
vibrations could
shake, shatter
and basically
break anything
he aimed them
at, depending on
the level he
used.
~His abilities
were so
powerful, that
he had the
potential to
take down entire
cities if he
wished it, and
could be forced
to do so through
methods of
torture.
~Slapping his
hands together
could create a
huge backlash of
seismic energy,
that utterly
demolished
anything was
just one of the
many methods in
which he could
use his
abilities.
~In X-factor 1
(Volume 3), He
tells a dupe of
Jamie Madrox
that he had a
deep connection
with the earth
when he had his
powers. He
explains: “I was
attuned to the
planet, man. We
were two…but
one…like she was
my mother and I
was in her
belly. I felt
the rain seeping
through her
dirt…the shifts
in the tectonic
plates…the life
force in her,
from every ant
to every growing
seed….I just…and
now….it’s like
someone threw a
bag over my
head. Stuffed my
ears and nose
with cotton.”
This proves that
his connection
with the earth
was much deeper
than he ever let
on, and due to
no longer being
a mutant, it is
obviously
severed.
~Rictor was able
to direct
vibrations onto
single objects,
be it organic or
non-organic.
~Jean Grey
mentioned that
Rictor has some
kind of natural
psychic defences
in New X-men
#130. This was
the only time it
had ever been
brought up.
Skills:
~He has some
combat skills
from his days on
X-force, but
nothing out of
the ordinary. He
usually just
prefers to kick
men in the
crotch and be
done with it.

Spanish, English
and Cadre
fluently.
